Maratón Divina Pastora Valencia 2011
Dear friends,
This is just to share with you the beautiful spectacle we had at the marathon, and better than any wording, the images speak by themselves.
We had close to 7000 runners at the full marathon (our previous record in the last 30 editions was 3.580) and almost 5.500 in the 10K race we held for the first time in parallel with the marathon.
The sun, the weather were part of the party, and the overall city environment was lighting as never; the finish line at the City of Arts and Sciences was spectacular and the whole was completed by a new record of the course (2:07:59 versus past 2:09:45) made by Isaiah Kiplagat Kosgei after a 150 meters sprint against Nicholas Kosgei and Francis Bowen.
